Custom Automotive Headlight Trim Panel Mold
Moldie manufactures custom automotive headlight trim panel molds for exterior lighting components that require stable dimensions, clean edges, accurate assembly, and a polished appearance. This mold is developed for the automotive plastic injection molding of headlight trim panels, bezels, decorative covers, and related vehicle lighting parts.
The current mold configuration uses 718H steel for the cavity and core, an S50C mold base, and DME standard mold components. Its single-cavity hot runner system supports stable material filling while reducing runner waste during production. The cavity and core hardness is 28–32 HRC, and the expected mold life reaches up to 300,000 shots when the mold is operated and maintained correctly.
The mold is suitable for producing PC automotive components that require impact resistance, thermal stability, and UV resistance. A polished molding surface helps create a smooth, clear, and visually consistent finish. RAL and PANTONE color references can also be followed when the molded headlight trim panel must match surrounding vehicle exterior components.
Each automotive headlight trim panel mold can be customized according to your component drawings, 3D files, resin selection, surface requirements, assembly structure, annual production volume, and molding machine specifications. Mold structure, cavity layout, runner design, cooling system, ejection method, and parting line position can be evaluated according to the actual project requirements.
