Custom Automotive Speaker Parts Injection Molding
Moldie provides automotive speaker parts injection molding for speaker grilles, housings, brackets and other vehicle audio components. Parts are manufactured from ABS reinforced with 17% glass fiber, offering the rigidity, heat resistance and dimensional stability required for automotive interior applications.
As an experienced automotive plastic parts manufacturer, Moldie supports projects from mold design and material evaluation to injection molding and repeat production. Textured molded surfaces can be developed to coordinate with door panels, dashboards and surrounding trim. RAL or PANTONE references can also be followed to maintain consistent colors between production batches.
The production mold uses H13 steel for the core and cavity, heat-treated to 48–52 HRC for improved wear resistance. An S45C steel mold base provides structural support, while HASCO standard components simplify maintenance and replacement.
The cold runner system, gate position, ejection method and number of cavities can be customized according to the part design, expected annual volume and available injection molding machine. With an expected tooling life of up to 800,000 shots under suitable operating and maintenance conditions, the mold is designed for long-term automotive production.
