At Fakuma 2026, Moldie will present automotive molds and molded components, with a particular focus on 2K and two-shot tooling solutions. What to discuss at the Moldie booth
Automotive molds and molded parts
Our exhibition materials include automotive interior and exterior tooling and parts, such as instrument panel structures, center console assemblies, structural components and trim parts. We can review part geometry, appearance requirements, resin selection, dimensional targets and forecast volume to discuss a suitable mold and production approach.
2K and two shot molding projects
For parts that combine two colors or materials, the tooling concept must account for material compatibility, the bonding interface, shrinkage, part transfer, cosmetic transitions and repeatable processing. At Fakuma, we will present 2K mold and part examples and discuss how these requirements affect the tool and the validation plan.
Tooling for coffee machines and rail components
The booth presentation also covers molds and parts for coffee machines and rail applications. These examples show how tooling decisions change with component function, surface requirements, material behavior, assembly conditions and expected production volume.
Support from project review to production
Moldie has worked in mold and die manufacturing since 2008. Our scope includes plastic injection molds, die casting dies for aluminum, Zamak and magnesium, and precision mechanical parts. Depending on the program, we can support part review, prototyping, DFM and Moldflow analysis, tool design and manufacturing, sampling, inspection, injection molding, finishing and assembly.

- 2D drawings and 3D CAD data
- Resin or alloy requirements and any approved material list
- Estimated annual volume and expected tool life
- Critical dimensions, tolerances, surface and appearance requirements
